Follow our LEAD Kayaker, Jason, with his PIRATE FLAG & volunteer Shirt; he will guide your ROUTE
Be Prepared:
If you've never paddled before,
learn some kayaking basics here!
Bring an extra set of dry clothes, towel, dry shoes, extra sweat shirt or jacket (just in case you get wet) to use for after the paddle
Avoid wearing cotton while paddling - it retains moisture and dries slowly
Hat, visor, sunglasses and sunscreen if the sky is clear is a good idea
Sturdy water shoes are recommended
Insect repellent, inhalers and bee sting kits couldn't hurt.
Bring an extra snack for the float and an additional beverage if you prefer.
Please take your containers off the water-craft with you; do not litter along the river
